The Stanley Kubrick Archive at the University of the Arts London

In our athenaeum and special collections centre you tin notice materials to enrich your learning, didactics and research. We offering a high-quality learning experience to students from undergraduate to doctoral levels.

At the center you lot can admission over 35 archives and collections, especially if you're looking for materials on:

Visiting us

The Academy Archives and Special Collections Middle is open up Monday to Friday by advance engagement.

• Before booking, please browse our online catalogue and provide us with the reference numbers for the items you lot desire to see.
• Log in to Academic Back up Online to watch this video for information on how to request items from the archives.
• You may request a maximum of 20 items per visit.
• If you cannot brand your appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance.

ASCC staff will behave out up to hour of remote research for researchers who are unable to visit the annal. Please e-mail archive-enquiries@arts.ac.uk

Didactics sessions

Nosotros can arrange teaching sessions for UAL student groups and their tutors. Our experienced staff can introduce you to our archives and collections, sharing interesting information and explaining how you can employ them in your do or inquiry.

Delight note that to comply with UAL's building capacity and social distancing guidelines, about sessions will take place online.

On your visit:

• We will follow UAL's Social Distancing Policy.

Copying service for remote researchers

Nosotros tin can provide a express number of copies of archive cloth for researchers who are unable to visit the annal in person.

There are charges for copying in line with prices charged across library services.

If you wish to have something copied, please electronic mail annal-enquiries@arts.air-conditioning.uk and nosotros can advise you lot whether this is possible. We will consider the condition and preservation needs of the item, copyright and Data Protection.

Delight note, copying items from the Stanley Kubrick Archive is restricted to bookish researchers working on university or school projects simply. This is due to the annal's donation agreement.

Photographing items during your visit

If you lot visit the archive in person, non-flash photographs of materials from our athenaeum and collections are ordinarily permitted for non-commercial research and private study, with the exception of the Stanley Kubrick Annal.

Please ask a fellow member of staff before photographing archive materials. You will need to fill out a copyright declaration form giving details of all items which you photo.

Commercial reproduction

Nosotros tin provide copies of archive materials for commercial reproduction such as in books, magazines etc. You lot must clear copyright on whatever items before the annal can release images to you. A fee is charged to cover the administration of the copying and provide a contribution to collection care. We tin can advise on the charge when you make your selection.

Copying of archive fabric from the Stanley Kubrick Annal for commercial purposes requires approval by the donors of the Archive earlier we can release any images to you. This process can have some time. If y'all wish to request images for reproduction we can propose yous farther on this when yous visit.
